Fr. Philip Le
I came to Canada as one of the “Boat People” in 1990. The voice of God through Bishop Paul O’Byrne called me to serve in the priestly ministry. During my 4 years of training at the seminaries I had a chance to acquaint myself with the people in the Hat. Two summers working with youth at Camp McCoy gave me lots of experience and strengthened my love for our young children. Then when I was ordained a priest, can you imagine, my first ever Mass was at the old St. Mary’s, Medicine Hat. The third and fourth years of my priestly ministry I served at the same St. Mary’s again. I moved to the Northwest Territories and then to another parish before I got a sudden call I didn’t expect from the Chief Shepherd of the Diocese, Bishop Henry. Here I am! I love you and enjoy my ministry at Holy Family Parish.
